The Festival of Spring is hosted at the Nokesville branch of Burnside Farms. And what’s more, it’s among the most wide-scale of tulip festivals in the Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland (DMV) areas. The festival takes place from late March and goes on up until mid-April. Its major highlight is the showcase of thousands of tulip flowers at their blooming peak in the spring warmth.

At this tulip festival, you can also see beds of daffodils alongside other common season flowers. You’ll get fantastic photo opportunities and adornment for vases at the festival. The farm also hosts other flower festivals during the remainder of the year.

We’ve made a short video showing the various activities you can do in this tulip festival. You can see for yourself the beauty of the flowers blooming to life out on the meadows of Nokesville:

Tulips tend to bloom right after the cherry blossoms. So if you’ve by any chance missed the cherry blossom season in Washington DC, you can still account to see these beautiful flowers.
